SENIORS ENGAGEMENT AND EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM (SEEN)

SEEN supports seniors from immigrant, racialized, and low-income communities in Peel and Halton regions.

The SEEN project provides a suite of innovative activities, tools, and resources to enable access and address the service needs/issues of seniors.

The program offers:

Online and in-person support and services for seniors facing social isolation/loneliness and feeling socially excluded due to lack of access to appropriate tools and resources
The promotion of volunteerism amongst seniors by interacting with other seniors from diverse cultures and backgrounds
Expanding the awareness of elder abuse, including financial abuse and fraud, and promoting upskilling and education/activities for seniors
