SEEN supports seniors from immigrant, racialized, and low-income communities in Peel and Halton regions.

Seniors Engagement and Empowerment Program DESKTOP PILL V2

The SEEN project provides a suite of innovative activities, tools, and resources to enable access and address the service needs/issues of seniors.

The program offers:

  • Online and in-person support and services for seniors facing social isolation/loneliness and feeling socially excluded due to lack of access to appropriate tools and resources
  • The promotion of volunteerism amongst seniors by interacting with other seniors from diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Expanding the awareness of elder abuse, including financial abuse and fraud, and promoting upskilling and education/activities for seniors
